Summer is just around the corner and it’s time to start planning ways to blow off some steam.

Tampa Bay Attractions, is listed as one of the top destinations in the United States.

If you plan on stopping over or have lived here all your life, there’s a smarter way to vacation with your pet. Super Dog Center wants to make life easier for pet owners when a break is needed from everyday life. Don’t be scared to take Fido along for the ride vs. leaving him or her behind. We’ll make sure your pet is comfortable while you head to one or all of these top Tampa attractions:

  1. Busch Gardens Tampa – This theme park has a chockful of activities for the whole family. From rollercoaster rides to animal attractions, concerts and kid-friendly activities, there’s no shortage of things to do.

  1. Lettuce Lake Regional Park – For all the nature lovers out there, this one’s for you. Brimming with wildlife, you can observe them in their element – from a safe distance. Other activities to do at the park include picnicking and kayaking. You can also bring your pet dog along if you wish. 

  1. Bayshore Boulevard – Take a scenic drive or stroll along the 4.5 mile stretch of Bayshore Boulevard in South Tampa Bay, Florida. Situated right next to the calming waterfront, it’s lined with historic homes and is perfect for stopping and smelling the roses. 
  1. The Florida Aquarium – Dive into adventures at The Florida Aquarium, where you’ll discover more than 20,000 animals and plants. Some of the top things to do at this site are taking a dolphin cruise, viewing an exhibit, or watching one of their intriguing daily shows. 

  1. Adventure Island – Have some fun in the sun with at the Adventure Island Waterpark, which is home to numerous slides and pools, including the Colossal Curl, Aruba Tuba, Calypso Coaster, Caribbean Corkscrew, and Everglides

  1. Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park – This brand new waterfront park is great for spending a relaxing day or evening with the family, including your pet dog. It has a trail run for dogs, an interactive playground, and occasional shows by local performers.

  1. Glazer Children’s Museum – Take your little ones on an educational adventure at the Glazer Children’s Museum, where they’ll discover a rich cultural experience. There are art exhibits on display as well as a range of kid-friendly activities to explore.  

  1. Segway Tours in Tampa – Your vacation doesn’t have to wear you out. Conserve much-needed energy by skipping long walks by touring Tampa Bay’s top tourism destinations on a Segway. These can be rented from a variety of vendors.  

  1. Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo – See exotic wildlife up close and personal at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo. From African elephants and penguins to Bornean orangutans, chimpanzees to Florida panthers and much more, it’s a must-see destination for the family.

  1. Dog-Friendly Beaches in Tampa, FL – While you’re here, wouldn’t it be great to spot a beach where Fido is free to roam? We’ve got good news. One such dog-friendly beach in Tampa Bay, Florida is Davis Islands Dog Park and Beach, complete with a dry run just for pets.  

  1. Fort De Soto Dog Beach Park – Based in Saint Petersburg, Florida, this dog beach and park has dedicated areas for small and large dogs to let loose and dip their toes on sandy beaches!

  1. Picnic Island Beach Dog Park – Your pet babies are free to play off a leash at this dog park. A word of warning though: there are some areas that are not fenced, so you may have to be on watch.
